Department of Physics

The Physics Department at Carleton University offers a complete set of undergraduate B.Sc. Honours programs in Physics including degrees in Applied Physics and in Physics with the choice of either Experimental or Theory streams as well as joint programs with Math, with Chemistry and with Biology. The Physics Department collaborates with the Department of Electronics in offering a B.Eng. program in Engineering Physics.

In addition, the Department of Physics at Carleton University is engaged in intensive research in particle physics and medical physics.

Carleton University is a full member of TRIUMF: Canada's National
Laboratory for Particle and Nuclear Physics.
